Always Keep the Hunger

Ages , ages I know since I last wrote on here. Probably should give it up, but I suppose even an occasional post is better than none at all. But I have been busy. Did a bit of traveling in the summer and early fall. Got to go to France twice and Belgium and Spain and Morocco. Sounds all terribly exciting. Sadly it was not. Got to only see a wee bit. Much like a trailer to a movie. On the other hand I did get to meet and spend time with family that I had not seen since I was like two. So that was a good thing in its own way. Now I am back home, job hunting again, and working intermittently as a substitute teacher, which is okay I suppose for now. Been a bit listless since I returned though. Trying to figure out how one goes about the transition from child to adulthood. Trying to find an easy transitional way of doing it. Not by simply plunging into the dark abyss of scary responsibility of simply surviving like so many I hear have to do. I want a bit more for myself than a one room apartment in some shitty city, and some dead end minimum paying job. That's pretty much what I see happening to me if I decided to just up and out the home nest. Tis a conundrum that will hopefully sort itself out with the coming new year. Yes I have great high hopes for 2011. 2010 was such a bitch that if she ever shows her face again I'll just have to give her a slap and send her packing...!
